Alex is my friend Kele's (Revia) nephew. And this is Alex before he got dirty...so this is about 10 minutes from when he arrived to camp!

What Alex looked like pretty much the rest of the weekend.
I tried to start taking pictures of camp as it started to grow. Some of the earlier pictures are uploaded on Flickr and here is Friday morning when some shade/rain shelters are going up. Or maybe we should just call it Patrick's Gaming Pavilion?

Deb (the wife) and Greg(Tdstraighjacket) chatting as always!!

So, here's our camping home...

...notice Dean on the right setting up another tent?

I swear he's trying to confuse us!! Their tent is almost exactly like ours!!
Here's a picture to show the back area of tents that are set up...

...believe it or not, 2-3 more tents get added to that area eventually.
Ok, so there's a bit of the photos for you all to look at. I'll post more later and eventually i'll need to post more of a "story of the weekend" type post...but for now we are off to Mom's to do laundry for the day. Which means...knitting!!! YAY!!

Alex is a cutie! What was the occasion for the camping trip? Is this a group you hang with? or is it a special camp visit?
Looks like fun and a lot like where I'll be for the next five nights. Except I'm a whimp, we bought a pop up trailer so I wouldn't have to be in a tent while it rains ever again. I wonder if my kids will be that dirty the whole time we are camping. Except perhaps when they are in the water swimming, then they'll just be prunes. LOL It really looks like a blast!!
This is a yearly camping trip hosted by NIPA which is the Northwest Indiana Pagan Association. Yes, i'm Pagan. :) Most of the group is as well, except for Greg and Kris & her daughter...they are our token Christians...and you'll notice that we let them live and they come back every year. Heehee!!
It's a fun group!!
Happy camping Kat!! Hope the weather is nice for you.

If the weather channel is correct it should be gorgeous. Are you Wiccan or do you follow another path? I drive my DH nuts because I'm bouncing around between religions and going to school to be an Earth Science teacher... well... you can probably figure out the conflicts there. My oldest is also following in my footsteps so far. It makes for some interesting debates knowing that we will never change each other's ideas/beliefs but we have fun trying anyway. LOL, ok, I'm putting off packing. I should get my rear in gear. See you in a week!
Great pictures! Alex looks like he had lots of fun. What a handsome little boy! Looking at your pictures make me want to go camping. You guys sure look like you had a great time!
